We are honored to welcome nationally recognized speaker, historian, and best-selling author Bill Federer as our keynote speaker for this year’s banquet.
Known for his powerful insights on faith, freedom, and America’s founding principles, Bill has authored over 30 books and speaks across the country on the importance of preserving our nation’s heritage.
One of his latest books, Silence Equals Consent, delivers a timely and compelling message challenging individuals to stand boldly for truth and not remain silent in moments that matter.
Join us for an inspiring evening as we celebrate 250 years of freedom and hear from one of today’s most impactful voices.
Earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981 and after a highly decorated career in technical business management he retired in 2017.
Upon retirement from the corporate world, Frank started a small business with his son and has pursued making a difference in the Kingdom of God. Frank regularly brings together and encourages like-minded believers to advance in the kingdom!
Frank was first asked to preach at his local church in 1992 and was ordained as a minister of the Gospel in 1998. He founded Sunlight Ministries in 2011 and is currently developing the South Florida Christian Leadership Network. In addition, he is working towards a master’s degree in biblical studies, while developing his own leadership training material.
He believes that everything we do should be done with excellence for the Lord. Our families, our businesses, and the ministries we serve should reflect who we are in Christ.
Adam Cervera is a dedicated advocate for children, families, and academic excellence. A proud graduate of Broward County Public Schools, Adam attended local elementary and middle schools and graduated from J.P. Taravella High School. He brings both professional expertise and personal passion to his role on the School Board, where he works to promote high standards, strong parental involvement, and a student-first approach to education.
Professionally, Adam is an accomplished attorney where he practices in business litigation and represents clients in a wide array of legal matters. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law.
While at FIU Law, Adam was deeply involved in child advocacy work through the Juvenile Justice and Education Advocacy Clinics. He represented special needs students and at-risk youth across South Florida, earning multiple awards for his service, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and FIU Law’s Excellence in Service Award. He later served on the South Florida Regional Board of Read to a Child, a national nonprofit focused on literacy and mentoring in under-resourced schools.
A strong believer in family and community, Adam is actively involved in youth sports and serves as a team parent. He sees firsthand how discipline, teamwork, and accountability help shape confident and resilient young people—values he champions in the classroom as well.
Adam has been married to his wife Teressa for over a decade, and together they are raising three young children. Their family is grounded in service, faith, and a shared belief in the power of education to transform lives.
As a member of the Broward County School Board, Adam Cervera is committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed—and that every family has a voice in shaping the future of public education.
George Moraitis is a dedicated public servant, U.S. Navy veteran, attorney, and former Florida State Representative whose life has been marked by a commitment to faith, freedom, and servant leadership. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and the University of Florida College of Law, George served as a submarine officer in the United States Navy before continuing his military service in the Navy Reserve, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander.
From 2010 to 2018, George faithfully represented the people of Broward and Palm Beach counties in the Florida House of Representatives, where he championed constitutional principles, fiscal responsibility, and policies that strengthen families and communities. His leadership has been guided by a deep respect for the values that have shaped our nation and the importance of preserving liberty for future generations.
Today, George practices law in South Florida, focusing on real estate, probate, and estate planning, while continuing to invest in civic leadership and community service. He and his wife, Heather, are the proud parents of two daughters and are active in their local church. George remains passionate about encouraging principled leadership rooted in faith, integrity, and a love for our country.
Abiud Montes is a dynamic leader whose career spans military excellence, public safety dedication, and community leadership. He began his journey in the United States Marine Corps in 1989, participating in Operation Desert Storm and later serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning numerous military honors. Montes retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant from the United States Marine Corps after 30 years of distinguished service.
Transitioning to civilian life, he became a firefighter with the City of Hollywood, Florida, and served in leadership roles, including as an Honor Guard member. Montes retired from the Fire Department as a Lieutenant after 30 years of dedicated service, further demonstrating his commitment to public safety and leadership.
Montes’s educational achievements include a Master's in Executive Management from St. Thomas University, reinforcing his ability to lead in complex environments. As a motivational speaker, he addresses audiences nationwide on topics such as leadership development, anti-terrorism, and personal resilience. His engaging talks, coupled with over 30 years of speaking experience, have inspired many.
He continues to serve as the President of the Navy League's Fort Lauderdale Council. Montes is also a published author, exemplified by works like "Two Types of Managers, Which One Are You?" which explores leadership dynamics and inspires managerial growth.

Angel Figueroa is married to Maria Figueroa, and together they have four children: Janelle, Alina, Andres, and Jay. Angel grew in his personal relationship with the Lord after the sudden passing of his younger brother Peter over 20 years ago. This tragic loss was pivotal in both Angel’s personal relationship with the Lord and his spiritual growth. Angel has faithfully worked in local government for over 30 years. In addition to his role as a Materials Manager, he also serves as a certified Fire Fighter Chaplain. Angel has facilitated men's groups for over a decade and he co-leads and supports several local non-profit ministries. Angel regularly serves in a ministerial role in his church, CTW. Angel has a deep-seated passion for serving the hurt and broken by leading them in a personal relationship with God.
Maria Figueroa is married to Angel Figueroa, and together they have four children: Janelle, Alina, Andres, and Jay. Maria committed her life to the Lord at the tender age of sixteen during a Baptist tent revival. Maria graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with both her undergrad and a Master's Degree in Organizational Management and Leadership. She recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University College of Law with a Juris Master’s in Human Resources & Risk Management Law. Maria has worked in local government for over 18 years and now leads the women’s bible study group she has attended for over the past 15 years. Maria co-leads and supports several local non-profit ministries. Her greatest joys come from spending time with family and friends and serving local ministries in support of faith and country.
Ingrid Ford is the President of Faith & Family Advocates Inc, and has been an advocate for life, family, and religious liberties for over 12 years. She is a board member of Broward Right to Life and has worked with several local and national pro-life organizations, including Turning Point USA and Liberty Council Action. She helped submit and push through the Florida Heartbeat Bill, was the former Florida Regional Field Director for defeating amendment 4 and, successfully lead the charge to overturn a bible ban in Broward County Public schools
Mark Ruben is the Executive Director of Israel Bonds for the Palm Beach County region, where he plays a key role in soliciting state and local governments, institutional investors, and individual supporters to purchase Israel bonds. His leadership has been pivotal during a recent surge in institutional participation. With Israel Bonds --- a program founded in 1951 and formally known as Development Corporation for Israel in the US-Ruben promotes the dual mission of providing a financial investment opportunity and signaling strong geopolitical and economic support for the State of Israel. His work positions him at the intersection of finance, support for Israel, and faith-based investment culture.
